Feed the Hungry Dinner at St. Mary’s Cathedral

Welcome back from what I hope has been a very restful, energizing and fun-filled summer. Once again on Oct 3rd, Hope will be co-sponsoring the Feed the Hungry dinner at St Mary’s Hall. St Mary’s hosts these dinners most Sundays throughout the year, and they serve approximately 500 people in need. Last year, we helped to feed 445 guests!
Many of the guests live on the street, and this meal is one of the few nourishing and complete meals they get all week.
Every year, new people volunteer and are amazed at what an incredible experience it is. Will this be your year to help out? We need about 30 volunteers and I can guarantee the experience will be memorable. The sign-up sheet is just outside the sanctuary and with it is a more detailed information sheet. The address is St. Mary's Cathedral Hall - 221 18th Avenue SW. The deadline to sign up is Sunday September 19th. Thank you in advance!
