10:00 am – Service of Word and Sacrament with the Imposition of Ashes
7:00 pm – Imposition of Ashes
We have seen decreasing attendance at evening services in recent years due to the dark and the cold and the ice. So this year we’re going to try a morning service for Ash Wednesday, complete with the Sacrament of Holy Communion and the Imposition of Ashes. In the evening, starting at 7:00, individuals who may not have been able to make it to the church in the morning are welcome to come for a simple individual rite with the pastor of a prayer with the Imposition of Ashes.
