In September 2020, Hope Lutheran Church teamed up with Care Connect Christian Society - a non-profit organization who uses volunteers to deliver food hampers from the Interfaith Food Bank to needy people who have no way of getting there themselves (for various reasons).
Hope volunteers have been delivering food hampers on a weekly basis since. The time commitment is low (Thursday mornings from approx. 10am-noon). If you would like to join our volunteer team, please contact the church office at 403-282-6033.
PLEASE NOTE - WE DO NOT REGISTER PEOPLE TO RECEIVE FOOD HAMPERS. INDIVIDUALS NEED TO CONTACT THE CALGARY FOOD BANK 403-253-2055 OR ANOTHER SERVICE AGENCY.
