The Veterans Association Food Bank

Almost 2 years ago, we began a social ministry program at Hope called “Charity of Choice”. For a two-month period we ask Hope members to support a particular charity by making a financial contribution or donation of requested items. We are resuming our Charity of Choice program – for September/ October our charity of choice is the Veterans Association Food Bank.

You may bring non-perishable food items and toiletries to the church.  You can include financial donations in your weekly offering - be sure to note what amount is to be donated to the Veterans Association Food Bank.

The Veterans Association Food Bank is a registered charity operated by veterans. Their mission is to provide assistance to those who were willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and rights. They implement programs in a safe, welcoming environment and build strong relationships within the Veteran Community and regain the sense of Brotherhood that has been lost for some.

We are thrilled to announce that we collected over $1200 for this charity, along with non-perishable food items.  Thank you for taking care of our veterans!
