Ukraine Emergency Appeal - CLWR

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) through its partnership with Canadian Lutheran
World Relief (CLWR) calls on its members to respond through prayer and financial support to the urgent
humanitarian needs in Ukraine. The ELCIC and CLWR join with their partners, and people around the
world, in calling for an immediate end to violence. As fighting intensifies, early estimates are that millions
could be rapidly displaced creating a widespread humanitarian crisis.

Partners in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries are closely monitoring the situation and preparing to
respond with immediate humanitarian needs including food, shelter, emergency supplies and trauma
support.

Please support humanitarian efforts for Ukraine:

• Make a designated offering donation for "Ukraine Appeal" through your weekly offering envelope at Hope.

There are MANY charities and organizations collecting funding for humanitarian aide.  Please research carefully and donate to well-known charities and organizations.  Unfortunately there are many charity scams out there - be aware.
