Hope’s Charity of Choice for JANUARY/ FEBRUARY  - INN FROM THE COLD

Child homelessness affects the future of everyone. IFTC is working to break the cycle of homelessness and build a community where no child or family is homeless. For over 20 years, IFTC has been developing our progressive model of care which has changed thousands of people’s lives for the better—they are committed to continuing to innovate to help more families in need. IFTC programs mitigate trauma, build confidence, and guide families towards independence and away from social supports.

Lunch Volunteers – Hope Lutheran Church will be serving nutritious meals to children and families staying in the IFTC Emergency Family Shelter. We will set up, serve and clean up after the meal.  Volunteers needed for the following dates:

January 24 – 11:00am – 1:00pm – serving lunch at IFTC

February 7 – 11:00am – 1:00pm – serving lunch at IFTC

Please sign up on Nurturing Connections Wall.

Collection of items for the families in their care – refer to list of items needed on Nurturing Connections wall. Drop off donations in box found in the church office.  If you wish to make a financial donation to IFTC in January or February, you may place it in your offering envelope (write cheque to Hope Lutheran Church and indicate amount for IFTC.)

Hope Lutheran Church has been a long-time supporter of IFTC and we hope to continue. In January and February, please prayerfully consider how you can get involved.
