We continue to work on strategies on how to safely reopen Hope’s doors. Should you wish to stop by the church, we encourage you to call and make an appointment. We ask that you wear a mask when coming to the church and use the touchless hand sanitizer stands that have been placed throughout the building.
We will also continue to worship online for now. Thanks to our wonderful technical team and worship committee for their time and commitment. The brainstorming continues regarding how and when we will begin to worship in person.
We have heard from several folks regarding how much they appreciated the inclusion of Holy Communion in last week’s worship service. Most enjoyed seeing one another on camera too. Pastor Kristian distributed Holy Communion on Monday, July 20th, by appointment. Folks who came in found it very comforting and perhaps spiritually moving to receive communion in the sanctuary once again.
Plans are being made to have another communion Sunday in August (and communion by appointment in the Sanctuary). Some recipes for communion breads are included in this week’s newsletter – you may wish to try one.
We understand the need for connection with one another. Slowly we will begin to add opportunities to get together. For now, please reach out to one another – call, email, send a card – these little gestures can really brighten someone’s day!
Your comments or suggestions are always appreciated (and we miss you so love to hear from you!). Please call the church office or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Sending love and prayers,
