Grace to you and peace
From God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ
In the wake of announcements from Alberta Health regarding COVID-19, the Council, staff and I are busy devising ways to keep in touch with our members. Hope is a very active and social community. We understand that the support we receive from one another, spiritual and emotional, is important to our well-being. Therefore, if you have suggestions about how we might continue to care for each other from a distance, please do share them.
We are also discovering ways to share resources electronically. You will notice a new “sermon” tab on the website. There you will find devotions, readings, prayers and other resources. In addition, join us on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. on our YouTube Channel for live streaming of worship @ Remote Worship or search for Hope Lutheran Church YYC.
Staying at home on Sunday mornings will be a big change for many of us, but we will be comforted knowing that we are doing our part to keep our members healthy and to reduce the load on our public health system. The office will remain open to coordinate our response to needs within our membership. Let us know if you can offer your assistance.
Please know that, if you are struggling, you can continue to phone my number. There are caring people to assist you.
In peace and in hope for our shared future, Pastor Marty
