It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Rev. Robert (Bob) Moland at the Brentwood Care Centre on Friday, March 27, 2020.  

Rev. Robert Charles Moland, beloved husband of Marilyn Moland, of Calgary, Alberta, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020 at age 83 years.

Robert "Bob" was born in Duluth, Minnesota on February 22, 1937. He attended Duluth Central High School and graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota with a B.A. in Business Administration and Political Science in 1959. He graduated from Augustana Theological Seminary, Rock Island, Illinois in 1963. He was ordained into the Holy Ministry of The Lutheran Church in 1963 and served parishes in Southern Minnesota, Winnipeg, Yukon Territory and Calgary, retiring in year 2000.

Bob was a family man and enjoyed watching sports, playing golf, listening to music and spending time in the mountains. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Robert is survived by his wife Marilyn of 57 years; sons Robert and Patrick, and daughter Kirsten (Neil); along with eight grandchildren, Courtney-Lyn, Mats, Ian, William, Peter, Cassandra, Chelsea and Jamie. He is also survived by his brother Daniel, sister Katherine and; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, and brother James.
