Kristian has been a pastor since 2004, serving at Hope since 2013. A lifelong Lutheran, he has found incredible richness in working with ecumenical and interfaith colleagues on events and projects. He loves the Lord’s Day when the assembly gathers for worship, and has had a long interest in the liturgical arts. Kristian has been involved locally, regionally, and nationally in worship renewal in the church. He is passionate about learning and teaching heart-to-heart communication, and music that makes community. In 2018 he began working on his Doctor of Worship Studies at the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies. In his spare time he can be found running on the local trails in Cochrane where he lives, and adventuring in the mountains on bike in the summer, skis in the winter, and on foot any time of the year.
