George Berke

He is mourned by his wife Patricia of 56 years. George is survived by his nieces Sandra Mayers, Teresa Labby, Debbie Heuvelink, Anne Piel and family; nephews Greg, Russell and family, as well as all numerous nieces and nephews.

After he married Pat, they farmed in the Delacour area for 34 years until retirement.

George liked sports, especially football, Calgary Stampeders, and the Calgary Flames. He had a really special sense of humour as well as knowledge. He will be missed by his special friends, Del and Larry.

A Funeral Service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, 3527 Boulton Road, NW, Calgary, Alberta T2L 1M5 on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
