Patricia Lorraine Berke

Patricia was born in Calgary at the General Hospital on August 21, 1930. She was raised on the family farm near Kathyrn.
She attended nursing school in Spokane, Washington. She then married George in 1966 and they purchased a farm in the Delacour area and farmed for 34 years and worked at the Calgary General Hospital for 35 years.
She is predeceased by her husband George on December 31, 2023 and her parents Alexander and Marry Poffenroth, brother Raymond Poffenroth and sister Evelyn Schoen. She is survived by her nephews Greg Poffenroth and Russell Schoen and family, and numerous cousins and an uncle Harry Shierman of 104!
She was always a caring and unselfish person that cared and shared her head nurse knowledge with all that knew her, especially George!

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 12:30 p.m., at Hope Lutheran Church, 3527 Boulton Road, N.W. Calgary, Alberta, T2L 1M5.
Internment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
