Please join the Amicus Singers and the Hope Worship Band on Friday, May 22, from 7:00 to 9:30 pm for a special evening of song and fellowship (here at Hope!).
Sing for Justice! will feature brief performances. . . followed by a classic hymn sing-a-long!! Lyrics will be provided. Bring your singing voices (harmonies optional), and we'll try to hit everybody's favourites. There is no admission charge, and refreshments will follow the singalong.
We sing these songs in solidarity with our neighbours, hoping to shine a light on the ongoing efforts to help immigrant communities following ICE's Operation Metro Surge in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A free-will offering will be collected for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America's Minneapolis Area Synod Welcome Fund for immigrant communities.
